We got to see the early screening of The Dark Knight Rises Prologue via Operation Early Bird. The prologue will be playing along with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol later this week.

Waiting in line for the Dark Knight Rises Prologue
There are many fans in line for the Dark Knight Rises Prologue screening in the IMAX theater and they warn us not to take any videos or pictures. As we step into the theater everyone is given a Dark Knight Rises T-Shirt with the words “End” on it, and what seems to be the mouth respirator/guard section from Bane’s mask.

As we are seated in the theater, two people are thrown out already for having their cell phones out trying to record video.
To burn some time trivia questions are dealt out, the winner recieves a Dark Knight Rises poster! I actually manage to raise my hand and get the very first question right securing my poster. The question was pretty easy “who did Kim Basinger play in a Batman film?” I raise my hand and shout “Vicky Vale!” A few other posters are given out and at the end of the contest, we are warned again about the cell phones and cameras.

What Happens in the Dark Knight Rises Prologue
The prologue opens with Commissioner Gordon talking about Harvey Dent’s death, and how he believed in him. Screen fades black and reopens to a team of mercenaries approaching a plane with two prisoners in tow. The prisoners are hand cuffed and black bags are set over thier heads. The soldiers talk to what seems to be a investigative agent that has been searching for Bane. They converse about the prisoners possible connection with Bane.
The investigator’s team have a plane ready to take off and the two prisoners are thrown into the plane. As the plane reaches a higher altitude the landscape shows a rain forest type of terrain that makes you think they are somewhere in South America.
The lead investigator starts to interrogate the two prisoners and threatens that the first person to talk gets to stay on the plane. One prisoner is dragged on the floor over the plane’s doorway to have his head hanging out and the investigator threatens him to talk, after the prisoner goes silent the investigator fires a gun next to head and says he is dead. (a bluff to scare the second prisoner into talking)
When the second prisoner is dragged into position, the investigator asks how is it that Bane’s men are so tight lipped. The first prisoner speaks and the hood is removed revealing Bane himself. (The south american accent Tom Hardy has sounds pretty decent) The investigator wants to know why Bane would let himself get captured and it turns out he came on board to find out what the investigators knew about him, as well as to identify the presence a defector/unwilling member of his organization that is now in the investigator’s hands.
Above the plane flys a even larger transport plane, Bane’s soldiers repel down to take over the smaller plane. There is a shoot out and Bane breaks free of his binds. There are now large tow cables hooked up to the tail end of the plane and Bane’s assault team plant explosives to take out the rear section of the plane leaving a hole straight into the interior. The smaller plane is dragged in such a way where the nose dives down and wind shear rips both of the wings off.
Somehow a body bag is lowered from the transport plane in through the tail section hole of the dragged plane. There is a unconscious man in the bag, and Bane takes the defector’s arm and jams a needle into it, he starts a blood transfusion between the defector and the man in the body bag! The man in the body bag appears to have come to life, and speaks to Bane briefly. A Harness is attached to Bane and he grabs hold of the defector. Explosives go off and the two are propelled out of the tail section to watch the smaller plane explode and hurdle back to the ground.
The screen fades to a collage of clips, and we see Catwoman on the Bat Pod, A new Bat Vehicle (Possibly the Batwing) hovering in a street. Batman and Bane fighting on the steps of what looks like Gotham’s City Hall and finally we see Bane walk away with Batman’s mask possibly removed from Bruce Wayne and it’s condition is broken in the grasp of his hands.
The screen fades black and displays a blue shattered glass Batman logo. Is this the end for our dark knight? We’ll have to see on July 25th!

Hi
Nice description
Except that accent is clearly NOT south american
Sounded like a mix of British and Eastern European
Ah, we got a accent expert in the show! lol.
Can’t wait til it comes out in the summer. Love the new turns the past two movies.
