This film does a good job of stepping away from the Clash of the Titan’s remake, with a good storyline and a respectable performance. Wrath of the Titan’s steps quickly into the action of Greek mythology and keeps the tempo running smoothly.
The story line’s angst revolves around some serious family issues for Perseus, his brother Ares and his uncle Hades. The problem with Perseus is that he thinks being half god means he doesn’t have a place with his father Zeus. Ares on the other hand is upset that he’s not the favorite son. Zeus’s brother Hades is upset that he was banished to…hell. (That might upset me too.)
